Hmmm.. This same matter has been debated already in an another topic.. alien... It shows that how our(Indian) culture has been polluted by other cultures.. Most of the people get addicted to bad things rather than good things.. According to me, most of the girls are thinking that Freedom means walking on the road without wearing dress.. This is not only their mistake but the freedom of this socity.. I mean, there is no restriction to cinema stars in the matter of 'costuming in cinema'.. Girls feel good/proud when others see their big breasts and one other organ.. My great doubt is, how their parents allow their daughters to wear these kind of ugly dresses..!  (12 years ago)

my big question is- world give preference to women(girls) to raise women. So girls have freedom. Why girls misuse these rights i.e. Living alone frm their family, type of clothes, behaviour etc. Sometimes, i surprise by seeing clothes of girls n boys. And think who do shame, boys or girls! it seems that boys r female and girls r male.  (12 years ago)

lol.. Ever been around a muslim society dears..? Not evrymuslim but few who following 'hijab'--(dress codes of Muslim women when in front of non related males)..? I am now surprised frnds here are a bit concious about the evil outbrings of ppl now a days....The first scientific benefit is that it discourages voyeurism because the Hijaabprevents the woman or girl from being looked upon as a Sex object andeven in case where the Man or boy accidentally fails to lower his gaze, sucha dress code will not invite impure feelings in their minds. People in westerncountries base their ideas on Charles Darwins's Evolution theory and AllahForbid, they say justify sexual lust as an animal instinct and thus they have parlours showing porn, strip tease bars, other forms of prostitution etc. (12 years ago)

In countries like Iran, a woman who has been raped is judged as to whethershe was dressed modestly or not. I know, such thinking is not right butHijaab comes to the advantage of the victim if she had been dressed as perIslamic dress code. Thus, one should think on this lines rather than sayingthat Hijaab curbs freedom of woman and girls... There's alwys peace in Islam this way or the other.. (12 years ago)

§alien.. In my point of view, The one and only ans for your Sharp Q is, The people misunderstood that What is Modernism.. They are thinking that Modernism is Getting Addiction into Immoral Culture in indirect way.. This Modernism has routed strongly in all aspects of our culture like, Joint family, Helping Tendency to our Neighbours, Self control, Contentment etc.. @peaceinislam, i want to give u ans of ur q->I know the replywould have been well appreciated if it was from afollower of other religionright? -acutually, u r absoultely wrong. NoOne will pull God in these types of topics. ya, i m agree that the cloth 'hijab' protects girls from bad eyes. But its nt mean that we should pull religon (God) into these topics.
