Coming together for the first time, Akshay and Chitrangada are said to have brought some mature yet spicy romance on screen. "Yes, we had a nervous first time ease with each other which was spicy for sure," smiles Akshay, "Still, our timing is so comfortable to watch. I wish Chitrangada all the best with this film and hope that this is the first of many commercial films for her. She belongs in front of the camera and I have a feeling that romance is definitely her niche." On the other hand Deepika Padukone, his leading lady from HOUSEFULL and CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, is paired with John in the film. Promos indicate that there is a love-hate relationship between Akshay and Deepika in the film. Says Akshay after a hearty laugh, "Like most brotherly mates, when a girl's involvement turns out to be competition, attention becomes a massive problem between John and I as well. So in a way, Deepika is a good inclusion here as it's nice to see us at war rather than always being in love." Adds Deepika, "To be so comfortable with him in real life and then pretend not to like him in front of the camera is very difficult. Of course at the end of the day since we are actors, it's a part of the job to step into a make believe world. I must say that all credit to John and Akshay for performing these funny scenes with such straight face." angelaa91 (13 years ago) {Image} Loving The Skin I'm In I was torn, confused and twisted when I received the reactions from my black co-workers and many friends when I shared with them the cover of my new romance novel, entitled, "To Catch a Kitten". I cringed at the remarks tossed at me like a ball of fire, ready to burn the skin from my hands, as if I were holding a hand full of hot grits! According to my sisters, the photo chosen by my publishing company wasn't quote: Black enough". Suddenly I felt a sick sense of isolation, disbelief and embarrassment, thinking that, maybe I wasn't: Black enough-myself - upon realizing that the photo resembled, none other than traces of my self angelaa91 (13 years ago) friendship is most valuable in life coz we choose person as friend that we like...
